Brady and I have not been able to do a lot of exploring yet but we were finally able to get out and see a little bit more of North Carolina this past weekend. We heard of a few different beaches where you can drive your vehicle on the sand so that’s what we decided to do.
Freeman Beach is just past Wilmington, North Carolina. At this beach you are allowed to actually drive onto the beach, camp, bring your dogs, have a fire ect. We really enjoyed spending the day outdoors, eating massive burritos from Flaming Amy’s Burrito Barn and being together as a family. With all of the crazy things going on in the world, this little trip was just what I needed in order to reset my mind. We look forward to future beach adventures here and maybe want to try some beach camping sometime soon!
