When life gets crazy, sometimes you just have to put everything aside and go on an adventure in order to re-center yourself. One of my favorite places to adventure is in the mountains. There is something about being in the fresh, cool mountain air without cell phone service that is good for the soul. Between politics (we won’t even go into the craziness of politics), nursing school, and holidays around the corner I’ve been feeling a little bogged down and really needed something to reset my mind so we went on a little ride. One of my favorite things about Colorado is that it is full of amazing trails and most of them have even better views! This trail is called China Wall, located just past Woodland Park. It was actually one of the easier trails that we have done but I liked that it was a quick trail with some amazing views. My favorite part of the day was when Taco (Our dog) decided that he was going to go adventuring across the river on his own. He quickly learned that wasn’t a good idea and got out as fast as possible. The look on his face was priceless 😀
How do you like to re-center yourself and find the calm in the chaos of life?
