Before- After: Notice the improvement of the scar on my upper lip.

Skin care is something that I haven’t always been amazing at. It’s not fun to spend a chunk of money on expensive products that may or may not work. I have always had issues with dry, rough, bumpy skin as well as milia on my cheeks and arms. It has always been something that I have been a little self-conscious about. I finally became desperate enough to try some pretty expensive products in order to get my dry, rough skin under control and none of them seemed to be working like I had hoped. After doing some research on different products, I decided that the PMD was what I had been looking for and was the investment I needed. After using it weekly for 4 months here are my thoughts
Pros
  • The PMD is user-friendly and comes with paper instructions and a video on how to properly use the PMD.
  • It has reduced the cold sore scar and smile lines on my upper lip.
  • My skin is so much softer and my makeup goes on so much smoother. Good bye built up layers of dead skin. ๐Ÿ™‚ย I have been in the sun a TON this summer so the PMD has had to do some serious work.
  • Comes with a cap and discs to use on the rest of your body. I have been using it to reduce the milia on the back of my arms.
  • Cost. Depending on which package you select, prices range from $159-260. I purchased just the basic package (pictured above) at $159. PMD offers some pretty good sales as well. I think when I bought it, it was $50 off. I feel that the PMD is an investment because it is something that you don’t have to keep repurchasing (besides the discs).
Cons
  • May cause minor skin irritation if not used correctly. The PMD has some suction to it so if you don’t hold your skin tight when going over areas it may cause a little rash. Ensure you are holding your skin taunt when using as well as avoiding areas that may already have a rash or wound.
  • Discs have to be replaced every 3-4 uses. However, you can buy 6 new discs for $20. That is much better than replacing multiple products every 90 days.
  • It has to be plugged in. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing but sometimes I find myself wishing it had an option for batteries.
I have been very happy with my PMD purchase and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a way to improve their skin texture without having to sell thierย first-born child. In addition to the personal microderm, PMD also has a skin care line, a lip plumper ย (Kiss), and other accessories. ย Discs are also on sale (sale only lasts 48hrs) for $12 using the code 12DISCS at checkout.
If you have any other questions, leave me a comment and I would be happy to answer!
